About me

My approach is based on individual and family systems models through the use of cognitive behavioral and dialectical models to address young adult concerns related to identity, separation, anxiety, depression, attachment and emotional injuries and trauma. Experience gained from working with blended, foster, nuclear and extended family systems.

Everyone experiences challenges in their life, including exploring the personal "romantic narrative." My approach is to find out where individuals tend to get "stuck," and enable them to identify concerns in order to move forward through exploration and resolutionto attain wholeness.

Janice is an amazing counselor! She listens to both sides and allows us to express ourselves when we need and lead the conversation when needed. She didn’t play favorites and does a great job of relating both sides to each other creative a cohesive explanation of where our disconnect may be. I’d recommend her to everyone who is looking for a counselor!

Mrs Janice is very sweet and doesn’t play favorites ! I love that she is real and will tell you when you’re wrong ... just as well as when you’re right! She makes you feel as though cares about you as a whole not just what she’s paid to counsel you through ! Highly recommend!
