My name is Hugues J Marcelin and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in helping clients resolving mental health, emotional and behavioral issues such as anxiety, depression, anger, lack of impulse control, grief/loss, low self-esteem, trauma, etc. I have been a Mental Health Therapist since 2013. I earned my counseling/psychology therapy MS from Troy University. I have worked with Devereux Organization, Centurion Health and Magellan Health. I have years of experience working with adults, students, families, couples and groups. I enjoy helping married couples and families work through various emotional and crisis issues, such as divorce, separation, mental disorder and death of a family member. As your therapist I will use various techniques to help your family members identify the feelings behind various harmful behaviors and develop ways to change these behaviors in a therapeutic environment.
Together we will work on your treatment plan which will include your goals, objectives and interventions. Your treatment plan will be tailored to meet your individual and specific needs. My counseling style is empathetic and interactive and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is my primary approach that I have used in working with individuals, groups, and families.
I look forward to working with you.

Hugue has been extremely supportive to my mental health healing. I trust his expertise and am comfortable with his approach.
Was all great
He was very professional, punctual and caring. He showed empathy, and during the sessions he emphasized the main points to work on. He listened actively and brought the discussion in a positive way without invalidating one's opinion.
