My name is Gene "Steven" Alexander, I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Kentucky with 35+ years of professional work experience. My education includes a BS in Theology - Mid-Continent University, EdS in Clinical Counseling - Murray State University, PhD in Psychology - Madison University, and post graduate studies at Southern Illinois University and John Hopkins University. In the past I have served as a mental health therapist, clinical supervisor for a residential substance abuse treatment center, administer for a regional mental health agency, and 22 years in private practice with offices in four cities. My clinical experience includes treating a wide range of mental health disorders, family & marriage issues, and substance abuse & dependence.
