About me

I specialize in helping families shift from discord to harmony, to go from fighting to enjoying each other.

My name is Ms. Eaves. I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a board-certified counselor. Currently, I am pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Psychology with a specialization in addictions. I began my counseling career 2014. Although Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) is the primary modality that I focus on, I use an eclectic psychotherapy approach to meet the client-specific need. To illustrate, I provide clients with SFT tools to deal with events of everyday living and explore critical issues using an approach that is appropriate to meet the couples'-specific problems. The SFT approach has many advantages in multicultural counseling situations. Thus, if therapists understand the core value of their culturally diverse couples, they can help couples explore these values and gain a full awareness of their conflicting feelings.
As a therapist with a Solution Focus orientation, I will educate you to focus on learning skills to deal with your problems of living. Then you and I will work together to develop a detailed case conceptualization to understand how you views your world.

While being sensitive to each client's struggle, I explore values and core beliefs in a nonjudgmental environment with empathy to help couples to learn how to empower themselves by relying on their inner strength. These experiences have given me a prodigious foundation to build to the knowledge gained during the graduate program and fieldwork through direct counseling experience with couples. I help couples in their desire to close the gap between where they are right now and where they want to be in the future, with the support of individualized therapy sessions.

These experiences have given me a prodigious foundation to build to the knowledge gained during the graduate program and fieldwork through direct counseling experience with individuals, families, couples, children, adolescents, and groups.

We enjoyed our therapy sessions with Gail! It is hard to find a couples therapist, and she has been great to work with.

Video capabilities would be nice. Also it would be great if we could attend from multiple locations. E.g. if our session was during my lunch, I could dial in from my office and my wife from home. The current capability doesn’t allow that.

Gail was great to work with. She listened to us, understood the issues we were facing and provided excellent counseling. She gave us exercises or homework that really made be introspective and evaluate our relationship. Gail's assistance helped us work through a very rough time in our lives and it is nice to know that her assistance through ReGain is out there for us if or when we hit another rough patch.

We certainly recommend Ms. Eaves. She helped us identify some of the issues in our relationship and put us on a path to setting goals and addressing them, including through practicing gratitude in our relationship. She enabled us to dive more deeply into the relationship, and now we feel like we can carry it forward together.

Ms. Eaves is a wonderful counselor and I will definitely seek her out again if the need arises. She is patient and soothing. She reminded me of what's important to get through my situation. I love the fact that she is rooted in Christianity as well.

Work with me!
