Hello! My name is Erin Thomas and I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in the state of Nebraska. I received my Master's Degree in the beautiful state of Montana at Montana State University-Billings. My husband and 3 little kids are the most important thing in my life so when my husband got a job in Nebraska, off we went to the Midwest. We love it here in Nebraska. We love to travel, swim, play any kind of sport, laugh, and just be together.
I have been in private counseling for 4 years and love helping and getting to know so many wonderful people. I have also done a number of presentations for large groups concerning marital issues. I have experience in counseling anxiety, depression, PTSD, family and marital relations, grief, pornography, obsessive compulsive disorder, etc. I have also worked with the foster care system in helping re-unite families and teaching parenting techniques and solutions.
I believe strongly in the importance of marriage and families and love my own family dearly. While working as a private therapist I realized just how much I love working with couples. I love helping couples remember why they initially fell in love while working through the heartaches that are currently tearing them apart. Marriage can bring immeasurable happiness and immeasurable hurt. My role as a therapist is to help foster self-discovery within your relationship and implement techniques that can potentially help heal it. Life can be hard and I believe we all need some help from time to time. There is no "one-size-fits-all" in the counseling world but together I believe we can work towards the best possible outcome, whatever that may be.
- Stress, Anxiety
- Self esteem
I also have experience in Addictions, Relationship issues, Family conflicts, Trauma and abuse, Grief, Parenting issues, Career difficulties

Erin is awesome. Her advice has been spot-on in helping me to rediscover my desires and work through fears and issues holding me back in my relationship.
I have already shared with a lot of friends how great things have gone. In only a few weeks of counseling, it has made a huge difference. Today I had a friend say she sees that I am happier. I am so thankful we decided to do this together.
