The work I have done helping couples is teaching them about what helps heal a marriage and what destroys it. One of the most important relationships in the world is the marriage relationship. Marriages are the foundation of families and families are the foundation of a nation. When families break down so goes a country. Relationships today are troubled for many different reasons. When two individuals join together, they both come with their own preconceived expectations about marriage, their own personalities, and their own beliefs. A sad but true fact is many people today grow up in abusive and/or dysfunctional homes. They don't witness their parents handling conflict in a healthy and loving way. People learn destructive and self-centered ways of communication which is one the core problems in relationships along with unrealistic expectations, irrational and distorted thinking, selfishness, and control issues, getting married before you really know a person.
I have helped couples to take responsibility for their own actions which in turn helps their marriage. Education is key, learning how to communicate effectively, forgiving one another are some ways I guide clients to success.

Erica is very helpful in thinking through problems in our marriage
Erica is a phenomenal counselor. She has helped my husband and me out tremendously.
Very thorough and gives me a full layout of advice each week
Taking with Erica over the phone was very simple. The session was professional, personalized and refreshing. The feedback she provided is priceless. I refer to it daily.
We felt comfortable and welled listened to by Erica. She gave sound wisdom to my husband and myself and was good at not talking side and taking both of our issues into consideration. We appreciated having a unbiased mediator to talk to. She is a wonderful counselor that will listen, and provide helpful resources! I would recommend Erica to other couples like ourselves!
Erica has been very helpful and shown kindness when I needed it the most. I appreciate her advice and guidance in my steps to healing.
