Elizabeth Bourne

About Me

I believe that everyone deserves time and a safe space for self-care, where individuals can be heard without judgement. I also believe that everyone deserves to work through concerns while feeling supported when making difficult decisions.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have been working in mental health for almost 20 years. I have worked with people who have been diagnosed with: Bi-polar, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and life-limiting medical illnesses, as well as people dealing with grief, phobias, relationship and school issues. I have worked in community, inpatient, outpatient and hospital settings. I like to utilize a variety of treatment modalities because I have found that a “one size fits all” approach to mental health, is about as relatable to most people as a one size fits all bathing suit. I am also the child of divorced parents and understand challenging relationships. I value the vital work of breaking down the barriers that grow between individuals in conflict so that successful communication can flourish.

Elizabeth is amazing! She listens to both me and my spouse and hears the concerns we have. We never feel as if she is taking sides or not hearing both of us. She is an amazing provider and would recommend her to every couple having some difficulties in their marriage.
