Hi there! My name is Eli Shlomovich, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker, and have been a psychotherapist for 15 years. I have helped individuals from diverse backgrounds, who have struggled with various circumstances and issues which have affected the quality of their lives. I believe that therapy offers a unique and special relationship that is built on trust, understanding, honesty and compassion. I have experience working with couples in different relationship circumstances.
My approach is collaborative and hands-on, but allowing you to set the pace that is comfortable for you, and determine the path of your work. I will be alongside providing encouragement, guidance, and practical approaches to help you challenge and deal with issues involving your current relationship/marriage. If you are struggling about getting into a relationship; we can explore what those barriers may be, and how to deal with them appropriately.
Relationships can, and should be rewarding and fulfilling experiences that enhance each of its partners and offers an environment of support, love, trust, and happiness. If you are seeking this from your relationship, or perhaps something is preventing you from experiencing and receiving such experience, please reach out.
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which will help you to apply various techniques to better understand yourself, and work with you to develop insight, courage, strength, and solutions to overcome the obstacles you are dealing with. I strive to make this experience rewarding, engaging, comfortable and even fun.
I welcome the opportunity and privilege to work with you, and help you attain a life of value, happiness, and stability.
