I am a clinical psychologist that emphasizes understanding in communication styles. It is this area where many couples experience gaps. My work with couples seeks to bridge those gaps.
My Doctoral training was grounded in psychodynamic theory (seeking to understand what makes us tick, the past as it influences our behaviors today). I am a long time practitioner of human centered (humanistic) psychology (focusing on the whole person) and practice with techniques from cognitive behavioral psychology or CBT (brief, solution focused applications/treatment).
