About Me

I have about ten years in doing couples work and helping to maintain/build on healthy as supportive relationships. Having worked with many couples as a licenced counselor in North Carolina, Kentucky and Tennessee I've gained much knowledge and awareness that can be passed on to others.

My counseling style includes using motivational interviewing, narrative, family systems, evidenced based non-medical counseling strategies, solution focused and cognitive behavioral techniques as blended to the needs/concerns of unique couples. I affirm individual and family strengths and assist couples with using those strengths to address the concerns and issues agreed to.

The counseling process is engaged to help couples to know thyself better and feel empowered to continue to increase in health and well being and be more supportive of the other as we conclude our short walk together. Please feel free to connect and walk through a positive counseling experience.

This has been working well for us.

We had a video counseling session and it went better than expected. My partner had never been to counseling and Danny provided him with an excellent overview of the process. The communication during the session was very straightforward, but in a manner that is easy to receive and act upon.

Danny has been a source of calmness in my chaotic life. For the past two years, I have dealt with one life changing complication after another. Every session with Danny, is my emotional/mental regroup hour. He has such an understanding and peaceful demeanor about him that makes me think logically about my emotional struggles. Overall, Danny has been very helpful to me during this stressful time in mine and my family's lives.

Danny is a great therapist! He is gentle and positive but is also direct and keeps it real. I feel like he has had a great 'read' on our relationship since day one and has a plan for our sessions.

It feels great to work with someone who believes in the power of a beautiful relationship and has the counseling and coaching skills to help you shape your marriage for success. Danny is exceptional: honest, balanced, and extremely knowledgeable about how great relationships work. We’re so fortunate to be able to work with Danny.

I thank God for sending Danny Drew, in our direction. At first, I felt like online counseling wouldn't work as effective as face to face. First day of counseling with Danny, I immediately felt confidence that this online approach would work. My husband and I am so glad that we were able to get a third party to intervene. Danny listens to us both very well and interjects when we are reverting in the wrong direction. If you are in dire need in your marriage, Danny is the one to help! Thank you so much Danny for giving helping us see each others perspectives, and for helping us feel there is hope again.
