Prof. Danielle Sheppard

About Me

Danielle Sheppard is a licensed clinician who helps couples reconnect, remembering what they love and want in their relationship or mindfully uncouple. She recognizes that every couple is different in terms of goals, challenges, and the pursuit of happiness, and honors that difference as a guest in the relationship. As such, she strives to help each of her couples realize their strengths, pitfalls and hopes. She takes a holistic approach to therapy, often encouraging her clients to engage in tasks or practice tools outside of therapy. She is a mother of 2, a Professor at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles and is married. Danielle uses a strengths-based, integrative approach to tailor therapy to each couple, and loves to help them express their stories from the heart. Danielle’s clients rave about her natural intuition, down to earth, non-judgmental approach and love her balance of warmth, kindness and ability to provide life changing insight.

Prof. Sheppard has been so great! She truly listens and gives me feedback that I’m actually able to use daily. I’m not someone who used to be particularly excited about therapy but she has created such a welcoming environment that I’ve actually been enjoying our sessions. I highly recommend Prof. Sheppard, she has helped me immensely in the short time we’ve been working together.
