About Me

Hello! As social creatures we are constantly in relation to others and our surroundings. Relationships define the most important and intimate moments of our lives. Families, friendships, and partnership are all built on intimacy, trust, and communication. These are more than just words. These ideas define a way to approach connections with other people that are critical for building long lasting relationships. In my work (as a client and provider) I have spent significant time learning and working with others to develop stronger and healthier connection in relationships. I greatly enjoy working with couples because I truly believe in and value the human need for partnership and love. Every relationship goes through ups and downs and can benefit from a professional there to help when needed. At any stage in a relationship there is always room for growth and deeper connection. The beginning of a relationship can be fraught with issues as people begin to come together, but even couples that have been together for years go through challenges that need to be addressed so that the relationship can survive and thrive into the future. For these, and every other unique relationship need, I am here to help as an experienced therapist trained to work through challenging issues. I have 8 years of experience working with individuals and couples of all backgrounds and with a wide range of need. I look forward to working with you!

Both my partner and I really grew together during our work with Dr. Dan and would highly recommend him to work with couples going through difficult transitions. After hearing both of our perspectives, Dr. Dan was very intuitive and would propose ideas neither of us had previously considered regarding the direction of our relationship. Therapy at times can provide some discomfort in order to address the underlying issues, but Dr. Dan always treated these difficult conversations with respect for both of us and support to "go there" when we felt ready. The only reason we ended our sessions with Dr. Dan was due to a job lay-off that forced us to reevaluate some financial decisions, otherwise we would be continuing our work with him over Regain. We are very grateful to have been connected to him and the help he gave us as a couple and as individuals.

Dr. Sneider-Cotter has helped our relationship in great ways by providing us with the tools for us to achieve our relationship goals. My significant other does not live with me but we were able to set up 3 way calls which was very beneficial and easy. With the tools our therapist provided and the wanted effort from both ends my significant other and I were able to work In a positive direction for our relationship!
