I am a Licensed Profession Counselor with 7 years of experience. I graduated in 2013 from Lindenwood University with an MA in Professional Counseling. In 2018, I graduated from Maryland Global Campus with an MS in Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigations.
My therapeutic orientation is a person-centered CBT approach. I approach therapy by focusing on the client’s strengths and assisting them in learning skills involving thoughts and behaviors that can be used to manage chronic and everyday concerns, even after they have completed therapy. I also have specialized training Mindfulness and use this skill set with many of my clients.
I have enjoyed working with couples and providing various skills to assist them in reconnecting and refocusing on their relationship priorities. Today couples face an additional challenge of advancing technology which can lead people to disconnect from their closest relationships. I have unique experience working with relationships that have difficulties due to technology (i.e. Smartphones, computers, tablets, etc.). This can cause a breakdown in intimacy and community. To me, the most rewarding aspect of working with couples is assisting in rebuilding their communication and ability to connect with each other on a genuine level.

Daeton is the best. I write this every time but he seriously saved our relationship and I will forever love him for that
Daeton has been a wonderful fit for mine and my partners needs.
Daeton is very much tuned in to our needs as a couple. He picks up on body language and addresses reservations or concerns in the most thoughtful way.
Very helpful, kind, and takes time to understand the situation AND when we stray off track does a great job of bri ging us back to the reason we are here. Always ends on a high note and with homework that helps us rediscover the things we love about each other
