I am a licensed Psychotherapist and a National Certified Counselor who specializes in couples and family therapy. I am also a former Certified Family Mediator for the State of Florida. In addition to being a Therapist I am also an Adjunct Professor. For the past 11 years I have worked with diverse clients from all walks of life. No judgements, no labels! I have over 30 years of extensive background experience in the Performing Arts and over 15 years in the Aviation industry. My experience in these two fields assist those clients particularly struggling with body issues, self esteem, relationships, "parenting from a distance" and infidelity. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression and grief counseling to parenting support, anxiety, identity issues and beyond.
My experience includes working with couples who are going through an adoption process or have challenges with infertility. Successful co-parenting and the skills of learning how to accomplish this is most important when couples decide to separate or divorce. This process, although exhausting in many ways can be done in an amicable and respectful manner for not only you and your partner but also for the children of your union. This creates a much healthier atmosphere for everyone. I use Family Systems Theoretical approaches with couples and families. Specifically for couples in crisis I like to implement The Gottman Method. This assists the couple to go back to "square one" and revisit the relationship the way it used to look like in its beginning stages, etc.
If you are experiencing any of these painful scenarios I encourage you to take the next step and contact me to help you put peace and balance back into your life so that you and your partner can be in sync once again and to further enrich all of the relationships in your life.

Cynthia is amazing
Cynthia gave me a great gift, allowing me to find myself and feel, for the first time, really happy. There are no words to thank her!
I am new to the ReGain family and have already get a difference in the first couple of weeks with Cynthia as my counselor. She responds in a timely manner and gives me good feedback and tools to help me be successful in my mental health growth. I have already recommended to a few people. I’m looking forward to continuing my counseling with Cynthia.
Cynthia has helped me so much over the course of our sessions. Without her, I would have never reached the positive and healthy place I’m in right now. She’s attentive, kind and always made me feel understood. I’d recommended her to everyone 10 times over
Cynthia is a very personable and professional counsellor I appreciate her ability to understand my situation. I leave each session feeling heard and supported. It is a relief to have a counsellor who helps me navigate the intricacies of a challenging relationship.
I feel Cynthia is a friendly, open and supportive counsellor. Its early days in the couples counselling and its looking very promising.
Cynthia is very caring and supportive of her clients, while at the same time being straight forward and neutral. She offers good insights about how to potentially resolve disputes and understands both people's perspectives.
