Curtis Williams

About Me

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) licensed by the state of Texas. I have worked as a counselor for several years in settings ranging from an outpatient substance abuse clinic, to inpatient hospitals, and my current work in a private practice. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and career challenges. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My passion is helping couples work through the issues that are keeping them from experiencing the kind of relationship they desire, and I believe can achieve. I am trained in, and utilize Gottman Couples Method Theory when working with couples. It not only helps with resolving conflict and improving communication, but also in rebuilding the friendship and passion that used to exist in the relationship.

Seeking help can be frightening, so I admire the courage you've already demonstrated by reaching out for help. I believe that working together we can help you find and develop the kind of life you desire. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Curtis is an excellent counsellor for us. He is both thoughtful and thought provoking in a way that helps my spouse and me grow. We like the continuity we have with Curtis, meaning that we do not have to spend alot of time catching up on where we left off the previous week. We highly recommend Curtis for individual and couples counseling.
