Welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with 10 years of post-graduate experience. I received my Bachelors for California State University, Hayward and my Masters degrees from California State University, Sacramento. I believe that continuing my growth as a therapist is essential to provide the best experience for my clients. I have sought training/certification in motivational interviewing, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based stress relief and Parent Child Interaction Therapy to name a few. My work-experience includes working with individuals, families and couples who struggle with interpersonal traumas, abuse histories, sexual and communication challenges, and anxiety.
I am a goal oriented therapist and I enjoy working with people who take an active role in their own growth and healing. I believe building a strong client-therapist relationship is essential in providing good therapy and I will take the time needed to develop this relationship. I commonly use interventions guided by cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness/grounding techniques. Treatment should fit each persons individual needs. I will work with you to develop personalized goals and work to achieve them!

Cori is very insightful, thoughtful and fair. It seems like she get both sides of our couples therapy. I would highly recommend her to anyone, especially couples. She has helped my wife and I improve communication, mutual respect and get through some hard times.
