I am a Clinical Social Worker, licensed in Missouri and Kansas and I have been practicing Social Work for almost 12 years. I have worked in a variety of settings, including medical social work, hospice/bereavement social work, and in private practice, working with a variety of ages and various populations. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and other mood disorders. I have worked closely with individuals and couples of all ages and genders. I can help couples understand communication problems, work through trust issues, and help each individual become the best parter for their love one.
My therapeutic style is very warm and empathetic. My first goal in sessions is to make the client/s feel as comfortable as possible, especially when the situation is anxiety provoking. I offer a supportive and encouraging perspective while challenging and providing guidance when necessary to reach therapeutic goals. My therapeutic perspective is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral approaches, along with the addition of focusing on individual strengths and provide a reality therapy perspective. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

Can’t thank her enough!
Chelsea has not only helped me with my own anxiety and mental health, but also how to talk to people, and how to be overall more trauma informed. It’s nice knowing my feelings will be validated while being honest about how my actions affect others.
Chelsea is timely in her responses and extremely caring. She is easy to open up to and provides easy to follow advice that has almost immediately improved our communication.
Chelsea has done a really good job at listening to our problems. We honestly feel better as a couple already and our viscous cycle seems to be ending.
We are a couple weeks into using Chelsea and she has been very attentive and great at keeping us participating.
Chelsea is kind, intuitive, and a problem solver. Even though we only had a few sessions, she helped me make progress on my relationship and in life. I would recommend her to anyone who is struggling with relationship issues and lacking self motivation.
Good therapist. Checks up on me when I havent talked in awhile.
Chelsea has been thoughtful during our phone calls and I feel like she hears what I'm trying to say. She's been very good at guiding us into and through tough topics that are hard to navigate on our own.
Very kind and helpful.
I am very new to this and am still learning Chelsea. It is too soon to say how I feel about her or if she has helped us yet.
