Catalina Prebisch

About Me

Seeking professional help is a sign of self-love and caring. I work with individuals, couples, and families most of whom are struggling with life transitions and experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety and anger. They may also have relationship challenges, be grieving, or undergoing current or past trauma. In my practice I will provide a safe and non judgmental environment where you can find a path to healing and change at your own pace. I use a variety of psychological theories such as Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness to help manage the life difficulties you are experiencing. However I believe that we all experience situations differently and therefore I will match my approach to your values, goals and needs.

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since March of 2012 and a board approved supervisor (LPC-S) since May 2015. I also became certified as an Anger Resolution Therapist (CART) and as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Further more, I have completed Level 1 and 2 in Gottman method of couples therapy based on the research and clinical practice of John and Julie Gottman.
