About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and have worked with clients since 2012. I work with couples and individuals experiencing difficulties with a relationship (i.e. familial, marital, social or work). We will discuss the initial presenting issue and find ways to resolve the conflict.

My counseling style is compassionate, interactive and educational. I see my role as providing you with my specialized knowledge in a supportive manner to help you navigate the challenges that brought you to counseling. This often involves addressing your presenting concerns with a combination of empathic listening, skill development, and psychological concepts.

I utilize a combination of cognitive-behavioral, humanistic and solution-focused counseling styles. In a nutshell, cognitive-behavioral therapies look at how our thoughts and actions influence and sometimes create our feelings, and vice versa. Solution-focused therapies use the presenting issue and work to find ways to deal with them. This is a team effort. We will work together to create a plan to meet your needs.

It takes courage to seek out help. It takes strength and patience to change. If you are ready to take the next step, I am here to provide support and guidance to encourage you.

I look forward to working with you!

I have had the best experience with Carry as a counselor. I have been with her almost a year and I am about to terminate our counseling sessions. She agrees that it's time. We've made excellent progress and I just can't recommend her enough. She is kind and she's caring and she's fair and she's challenging and very knowledgeable! So I'm so thankful for her and if I need counseling again in the future she will definitely be the counselor I asked for.
