I am a licensed mental health counselor with 22 years of experience in dealing with couples therapy and relationship issues. My approach is warm and friendly and I realize that the stressors, especially today, on your relationship are many and varied. I have always considered the relationship to be the focus of therapy, not the individual members. Going forward into a positive future is work and it takes each of you making a commitment to healing the whole relationship, together. You each have your individual needs and these are important. Communication in a positive environment and understanding of one anothers' issues is paramount to compromise and cooperation which, going forward, gives each of you the satisfaction that you are validated.
