About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor- Mental Health Service Provider licensed in Tennessee with over 4 years of experience working as a counselor and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and parenting problems. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse that could be contributing to relationship issues.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, solution-focused brief therapy and mindfulness. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

My normal hours of operation are Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 4:30 PM. I may add more time depending on the week so always check my availability. If you do not see a time that works for you let me know and I will see if I have an opening that opened up. Messages I receive I will reply to in a 24 hour period. Weekends I still try to respond within 24 hours.

With couples counseling, I recommend 1-2 live sessions a week.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I look forward to working with you!

Brian is great. He understands my thought process and helps me really dig deeper into the issues that brought me to therapy. He knows exactly how to pinpoint my thoughts and how to appropriately act and respond.

Brian has consistently listened to both of us well. His skills as a counselor are very impressive. He reads body language and tones well to help dig deeper in subjects when appropriate. I would highly recommend him to any couple or individual. He does his job very well.
