I am Dr. Brian Burgess, Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of California. I have worked as a mental health counselor for over 10 years. Much of my work has been with couples and their extended families. I have a great deal of diverse experience sitting with couples, individuals and non-traditional romantic partnerships who are experiencing difficulties in their relationships. I operate from a person centered foundation of non-judgment and openness to all. Typical goals of my clients in are to improve communication, develop a better understanding of partner likes and dislikes, finding common ground, and finding the best path to move forward with or in some cases terminate a relationship.
