I have five years of experience working in the mental health field. I received my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. I completed independent licensure in social work after working in direct supervision in the areas of severe and persistent mental illness and chronic homelessness. A focus area in my graduate program was in the area of post-marital counseling and I have a passion for fostering improved communication and connection in newly married couples while exploring potential challenges that may arise early in a marriage. I utilize a person-centered approach as a foundation for my practice with a focus on fostering a trusting empathetic relationship with all parties in my care. I have knowledge and background in fostering improved communication skills within relationships and re-building that connection that only seems lost.
I am available evening and weekends via telehealth to provide couples therapy and support to those in need.
