Benjamin Jensen

About Me

Hello. My name is Benjamin Jensen and I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LPCC depending on the state) in multiple states. I have been practicing in multiple areas of focus since 2016. I have worked in many different settings from in patient hospitalization, private practice, school settings, and in home treatments.
I truly believe that the body, mind, emotions, and spirituality are all interconnected and in order to get the best results possible, you have to examine all areas of a persons life to help balance out their needs.
I understand that relationships are comprised of two or more people and that each person has their own perspective even in a long term marriage. Couples are normalized and sometimes view as one entity which can at time negate the thoughts and emotions of one or both individuals. As a counselor I view it, my responsibility to make sure each persons voice, emotions, and person as a whole is heard. This can allow everyone to see not just the couple but the individual as well.

I know that seeking help is difficult at times and I commend you for taking the first step and look forward to being the help you need.

Benjamin is a wonderful therapist. He asks introspective questions and prompts me to reconsider my own positions, without feeling like I am being attacked. He clearly has expertise in a range of topics. He focuses on addiction, but he has also been crucial in my marriage counseling as my wife and I work to find ways to reconcile our differences.

There is certainly more work to be done when it comes to my (and my wife's) mental spheres, but I have no doubt that by working with Ben I can find healthy ways to deal with the troubles we have had.
