About me
I am a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist in the state of Kansas with over 10 years of experience working with couples experiencing infidelity, separation, divorce and blended family concerns. I have worked with couples and individuals suffering from PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and childhood trauma, to name a few. I have also worked with marriages to create a healthier communication, resolve conflict effectively, and parent children in a more successful way. I use Gottman theory primarily but am informed by other approaches that are tailored to each couple specifically.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Angela Howard. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
I have only had a couple of sessions with Angela, but I can already feel a shift in the way I am carrying myself. It’s welcoming and encouraging, and I really do appreciate her insight.
Angela started seeing my husband and I for issues with addiction and it’s lasting impact on our marriage. I think we learned some valuable tools for communicating as a couple and have been able to navigate issues in a more respectful and productive way. My husband ultimately decided to see his own therapist, but Angela has kept working with me. I always feel that she validates my concerns and makes me feel less alone. She has given me lots of tools to navigate tricky situations and has adapted her approach as my husband and I’s needs changed. She is really respectful of other peoples’ opinions and has been a great person to have in my mental corner.
Angela has been able to jump in and address our main issues after only a few visits. I feel like we have already noticed a positive effect in our relationship.
My boyfriend and I saw Angela for couples therapy for about 5 months.
She has always been very supportive, understanding and non-judgmental. She taught us valuable tools and also shared resources that we will continue to use as we work on our relationship. She is also very down to earth and fun to talk to. Overall it was a very good experience working with her.
Angela is wonderful. She always listens and offers great tools for my wife and I to try.
I honestly cannot believe what a good fit Angela is for me and my problems. She is kind, patient, knowledgeable, personable (just to name a few), all while being direct. She clearly has a love for what she does and it shines through in her work. Specifically I appreciate how I can come to her with abstract feelings, or incomplete thoughts and she can filter through and come out with concrete actions, or ideas on how to proceed.
10/10, anyone would be lucky to connect with Angela.
