Amy Hoffmann

About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Substance Abuse Counselor in the state of Wisconsin. Whether life or trauma, I strive to help my clients regain a positive outlook, as well as rebuilding their strength and resiliency to face life’s challenges and stressors. I offer a safe environment for individuals to work through past hurts, find freedom from ongoing struggles, grow in their true self, and thrive in their lives and relationships. I will help you to develop strategies to manage life's challenges and capture your strengths and help you be empowered through personal growth and change. I am Trauma Certified and trained in several modalities, although believe that you are the expert in you.

I enjoy working with couples to learn how to work together to become a more connected partnership. Relationships are hard and require work on all parties to strive and I can help guide both of you to work together for yourself, your relationship and your family.

My therapeutic style draws from approaches as cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and mindfulness techniques. I work with you to emphasize your personal strengths and to help you discover ways to feel at peace with yourself, especially when facing stressful times and/or an addiction. I strive for engaging, conversational and collaborative counseling.

I look forward to meeting you and guiding you through those things that trouble you.

Amy was very responsive, perceptive, caring, non judgemental, informative, and will to meet us where we were at. She supplied us with worksheets and more when suggested. She made us feel very comfortable.I would highly recommend her to anyone.
