As a therapist, I believe each of us has the right to become the best "us" we can be. Therapy can be very helpful in getting you "unstuck", "out of the gate", or "further down the road". Each person starts at a different place in their journey and has different goals. I am interested in your goals and how I can help you reach them together. That may be "We want to feel better about our relationship" or "We don't know what to do about (fill in the blank)" or "(fill in the blank) is stressing us out!". We will work together to determine the course and I will be here to help.
I tend to focus on what got you to where you are before we go forward. In my experience, it's essential and even better, it works! I look forward to getting to know you both and hearing your story. I love hearing about people's lives. In all these years, I have never met a person I didn't find fascinating. I love to be able to help and sometimes be an eye-opener. I've been studying Psychology since high school and honestly, I don't know how anyone wouldn't find it fascinating! When my patients thank me for helping them get a little (or a lot) better, then I know I'm on the right track. Some people just say I'm the first person who has really listened or cared and that's pretty big too. In my private practice I have worked with many couples who were either trying to stay together or trying to figure out how to break up in a healthy way (both worthy goals!). I look forward to working with you and your partner.
I'm really passionate about what I do and I think you'll feel that and see how it helps you get where you want to be.

I love how Alice is solution focused, but also prompted me to connect my past to my current situation/thoughts/emotions. If it has been a while, she'll reach out which helps remind me to practice better self care!
Alice is great and very knowledgeable! She can relate and I feel very comfortable with her.
So far, I feel that the sessions have been very helpful. I am hopeful of the counseling benefiting both me and my partner and look forward to our next sessions. I feel like Alice us taking steps to helping bridge the gap of communication between me and my partner.
