About Me

Couples often need support to get their relationship back on track again, or sometimes what is needed is help and support for partners to be able to lovingly end a relationship. We absolutely can learn different ways to relate to one another in order that both parties can feel cared for, loved and empowered again. I understand that there is often so much pain and so many difficulties that have occurred in the past, that things can feel hopeless. It is so discouraging when our primary love relationship becomes contentious and causes us such pain. You and your partner can learn new skills in order to improve communication and get to feeling good about one another again. If you are struggling, please contact me. I would very much like to help you get to feeling better.

I moved to the Eastern Sierra part of California which is a rural area and worked for Child Welfare Services for more than twenty years. I have worked for a couple of local non-profits including one for hospice as well as a domestic violence and sexual assault agency. I have also worked for the Bishop Paiute Tribe.

I have enjoyed working with teenagers and helping resolve family conflicts. I am certified in Anger Management, Workplace Bullying and Grief Recovery. I enjoy helping people learn their value and be able to treat themselves with patience and kindness, and well as develop the skills needed for self-comfort and self-calming. I want to assist people in helping themselves to feel better and increase their enjoyment of life. Life is certainly a challenge and we all need help along the way: We are not meant to go through life alone, with no support. We all need a helping hand.

Alex is incredibly skilled and versatile — we are incredibly grateful to have found her. She exudes a deep sense of care, helps us communicate with each other through a wildly wide range of topics, and is equally skilled at diving into individual concerns and couple dynamics. We really look forward to speaking with her each week, and always leave our conversations with greater introspection, confidence, connection, clarity, and actionable steps to take between sessions.
