Professional Experience

Aaron Smith has been writing professionally for over ten years. Featured on sites such as The Mighty and The Good Men Project, as well as several print anthologies, the primary focus of Aaron’s writing, interviews, and speaking are mental health and the stigma surrounding it. Aaron also touches on the intersection of faith and mental illness in his first book released in 2018. Aaron has been a featured speaker at several mental health conferences, and a featured guest on multiple podcasts.

Aarons touches on a wide range of topics, from emotions to ideation to depression. Aaron lives with bipolar II disorder, and often pulls from his personal experiences to help people understand with compassion what the reality of mental health is.
