About Me

We are flawed. We struggle, overcome, and struggle again - such is the cycle of life. The moments of clarity and purpose are the "sweet spots" of our life landscape. As your counselor I will help you navigate the areas of your life that become barriers to you realizing your full potential. I received my formal training at Eastbay university in Hayward, CA. I received my licensure in 2001. I've worked in private practice as a psychotherapist for over 15 years. I've worked in domestic violence shelters, and state mental health facilities for the purpose of providing mental health evaluations. I specialize in relationship conflict, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and adjustment challenges. My approach is client centered utilizing formal assessment, treatment planning, and help in the acquisition of coping skills. Allow me to help you reach your "sweet spot". Don't let challenges keep you stuck. We will work at your pace understanding that the work is the commitment that you make to yourself to improve or relieve your distress. Let's join together and conquer barriers. My goal is to help you cultivate, nurture and maintain the "sweet spots" in your life!
